Thank you Seaton

It has taken a lot of courage for me to put myself out there and ask for your help. I hope you will not think bad of me for doing so.

As I am sure most of you are aware for high street shop owners times are tough everywhere. It's been a rough January and February for us at 30 Queen Street.

Despite fantastic sales of artwork in our little community gallery space & art shop we as a shop only take 12% on art sales which after running costs doesn't help us cover the bills.

As a mum I have to ensure that I earn enough to cover the bills. I work various freelance roles as well as running the shop and teaching. Unfortunately due to health issues I've had to take a step back from my freelance roles that involve travelling, and teaching but I am keen to keep working as much as possible.

One of the ways I earn is via blogging. Every blog I post when it is viewed by you, you are, without spending any of your money, supporting me.  This is due to the adverts on my blogs. If you click on them to view the linked sites it helps even more. So thank you all for reading my blogs. Though I earn very little per month via this, every penny helps.

So on to how I need your help...

One of the other ways I used to be able to earn was via my You Tube account where I showcase art tutorials, review art products etc. Since changes to the You Tube set up I lost the ability to earn from my videos despite them being viewed over 72,000 times, this is because i have less than 1000 subscribers, the number you need in order to monetize an account now. (Previously it was much less so I lost my monthly earnings when this changed)

So this leads me to ask you, my community, for help. Please, if you use You Tube will you subscribe to my channel. Even if you are not a fan of art, or my videos, even if you don't yourself want to watch them, just subscribing to the channel will help. Once I get another 250 subscribers for my account & the watch hours increases a little more it will get it's ability to earn back which will help me so so much.

You can subscribe to my channel here.

*Update: They have also increased the watch hours required so i am in need of a few more watch hours to be able to qualify, massive thank you to all those helping with subscribing, that is one goal achieved. All i need now is for lots of people to keep watching the content. Every minute watched helps towards the total! I'll keep creating more content in the hope that people will continue to watch it and then hopefully soon i'll gain back monetize for the account and be able to start earning again!

I really hope you will not mind me asking for help. I am sorry to anyone I offend or upset by asking for help.

Thank you all also to all those who support me via shopping at 30 Queen Street, it has been a whirlwind here for the past 6 years but I love it here in Seaton.

Thank you for taking the time to read this blog.
