Hello everyone, I thought I would share with you today some hand lettering brush script practicing that I have been doing. As you will be able to see in the video below I haven't been doing it for very long and I am still very new to brush script especially. I have enjoy hand lettering for a long time in that I like to get creative with fonts and writing but for me that was mainly a personal thing for my planner and bullet journal.
I recently got myself Zebra Brush Pens, I got each size so I could test them and see which worked best for me. I found that I liked using the medium best, it worked well for the fine up strokes and thick down strokes i wanted to achieve.
I have been practicing using free download sheets available at Amy Latta Creations blog they are brilliant for practicing simple brush script. You get each letter in black first, then in grey to practice on and then space to get creative and try your own style. The important thing to remember is that with hand lettering it is about being free and enjoying it, get creative and find your own style.
