Anyone else love unicorns? My little boy Finley (age 5) is a massive fan so we got ourselves the new mini unicorn die by Docrafts to share and create with.
I wanted to see what simple and quick cards i could create with a silver / grey and white palette, i'm pretty pleased with how these three cards turned out and it only took 30mins to create all three.
I wanted to see what simple and quick cards i could create with a silver / grey and white palette, i'm pretty pleased with how these three cards turned out and it only took 30mins to create all three.
To create this first card i used plain white card to die cut the mini unicorn, silver foil card to die cut a large heart using my nesting heart dies and then i punched mini foil card stars from the scrap with a mini star punch. I added a layer of grey vellum which tones perfectly with the rest of the card.
To create this next card i used the plain white scrap card left from where i had die cut the white unicorn for my previous card, as you can see the die cut left a perfect unicorn silhouette so i didn't want to waste it. I backed the white card onto some glitter card and added a silver foil die cut sentiment and some sequins to finish the look. I used mat silver backing card so everything coordinated together.
To create this final card i used silver glitter card to die cut a unicorn, plain white card to die cut a large heart shape with my nesting heart dies and then some silver glitter paper and mat silver card for the background. I finish with a few gems in the corners.
As you can see all the cards were super quick and easy to make and kept within a small budget too.
