Looking for a cheap way to entertain toddles? Raid your button stash, grab some pasta and a ball of string...ta da! Hours of fun! (well and hour and a half in our house!)
This is Reuben, my eldest son. Firstly we chose to thread the buttons and pasta onto the string and made pretty necklaces and bunting. Reu loved it and kept laughing.

Next the pasta turned into a car track...of course, he is a typical little dude after all.
Then we went back to threading again, look at that cute concentration face!
