There are still a large number of service crews on site

The damage to the property as seen from Co-Op car park

View from Harbour Road, still shut off whilst the services are at work

We saw at least 9 engines, 2 ambulances and many police cars on site. Though there may have been more

As stated before if anyone affected needs anything please reach out. The Seaton community are always here to help, there is already a post on Seaton Facebook group 'Positive Development' where the community are offering assistance. I live just up the road on Queen Street and I will be on hand today if I can be of any help.

Updates: 2.30pm
15 flats were affected, many of which the people involved lost everything. One person was treated for smoke inhalation & burns but it is said that others were evacuated safely and were taken care of in The Hook & Parrot.

The Premier Inn are said to be putting up the families that need somewhere to stay.

Red Cross are beginning to arrange collections for those affected, Pebbles Coffee house has agreed to be one of the drop off points.
