Moroccan Haze papers & Moon Gazer Mini Die | Quick & Easy Cards

I have enjoyed creating recently with the new Moroccan Haze papers & Moon Gazer mini die by Docrafts. The moment i saw the cute little Moon Gazer die i had lots of ideas on how i would like to test it our for birthday cards, love themed cards and Easter cards too.

I tested the idea of using the die to create die cuts that would face each other as you can see in the right hand card. It worked well, the only thing to note is that there will be some de-bossing details (as seen on the leg) when using it this way rather than the embossed effect you get when using the die in the intended way. I don't think it takes away from the beauty of the die cut though, i was really pleased. I love the little flowers that cut out, replacing them with co-coordinating papers really makes the image pop.

I teamed up the Moroccan haze papers with a mat gold card, i wasn't sure at first if it would work due to the pretty pink foiling on some of the papers but i was pleased with how they turned out and think they work together really well.

To create the frame around the Easter egg on the right hand card i used the new 'Bird Wreath' die from the X-Cut range at Docrafts, i took the birds out of he centre and used them on another project.
